Avid Media composer 3.5 and above are capable of showing 3D material direct from a qualified DVI port as far as I know. You need a 3D ready TV/projector and glasses to look at it properly, but you can definately monitor it direct from the application - that in turn opens PTHD operators to using MC as their video satellite solution to monitor 3D material in their audio suite. So I'm guessing I'm 3D ready, already? I'd need to test some material first to know for sure! (or call mates from Avid video division) In a PTHD workflow, 3D isnt a problem.
